My most favorite parts: the lake is a flat; 3 mile run- if you are out of shape like me and wanting to go for a walk, we all know finding any distance without massive hills is futile! 3 miles around, "easy" run...
The views are awesome. Like most things in Seattle, people keep it fairly clean and respect the nature. Lots of wildlife, birds, rowing, fishing.
The path has 2 "lanes" one for feet and one for wheels- no one follows this, everyone goes in different directions.
This is probably the largest lake in the city. This park is pretty much the ideal place for hanging out or going out. And when it's nice and sunny outside, you can always get a spectacular view of what's on the other side of the lake.
It tooks me 61 minutes walking in either direction to complete one full loop. But there's so much more you can do. Go kayaking, play in the water, just take in the beautiful sights. Time will go by quickly.

Green lake is pretty much amazing. It is good for anyone and everyone.
Was everything that I was looking for when I woke up and just wanted to take a long, relaxing walk.
